Underrated band from late 80s, early 90s, Wrathchild America. Later changed their name to Souls At Zero. The drummer, Shannon Larkin is in Godsmack now:

I recommend listening to these in this particular order. To those who are not familiar with these bands - give it a try, most people really like what they hear
