Thus, Metallica seems older to a teenager today than The Beatles (and Ed Sullivan) did to me when I was their age.

Underrated band from late 80s, early 90s, Wrathchild America. Later changed their name to Souls At Zero. The drummer, Shannon Larkin is in Godsmack now:
