I expect the 370's have less sound deadening. stock tires, afaik -- car had like 15k miles on it and was an automatic.
It's totally normal since you won't buy either anyway
Between you, RTC, and z31maniac we should have a "what car should I buy but never will" sub-forum
I'm not complaining though, carry on.

Audi OKC has new a 2017 S3 EXACTLY how I would order one for $6k under MSRP.
But I'm also putting off buying a house until next year when some of my RSU's vest so I can have a larger downpayment. *le sigh*

I haven't read through all the pages, but felt like my recent acquisition was worth noting.
I'm letting go of my '13 STI and after a surpisingly satisfying test drive of a friends 335i I got hooked. I lucked out and found an 07' manual trans locally that already had most of the maintenance done for low teens. I still can't believe you can buy that much car for that much money. On top of that, $200 buys an android tablet, the app, the tune and the obd cable. Throw a grand at downpipes, intercooler, charge pipe and you're making 350-400whp.

Late to the party, but I have really enjoyed my 135i as a daily, with very decent reliability for the past 2 years - only major repair/failure being the water pump at 60k. It sounds great, with very healthy power and torque... but you have to be into ugly lol

I love the 135i, both its looks and driving dynamics. Manual or auto?
z31maniac... definitely Camaro over the S3. I am sure the S3 and Golf R are amazing cars but they're literally the same money as a Camaro SS...

Dual clutch? Which year is that? The 2010 I drove felt like just a regular 6-speed auto.
In reality, I really want to wait and figure out a way to justify the RS3. Classy small sedan that does 0-60 in under 4 seconds with that amazing 5 cylinder roar.

This is true. But they aren't even close to the same type of car. The Audi really oozes with my disdain for literally nearly everyone on the planet. The Camaro is the PBR of the car world.

Yeah, I think they are starting at $53k...........that's starting to get pricey on my salary.
Hopefully my companies stocks will continue to the upward trend as of late for when my first round of RSU's vest in February.
