Default Dropped turbo exhaust housing...

on my bare foot last night while extracting a broken stud. It was bleeding steadily for 4 hours. It hurts alot, so I don't recommend anyone try it. If the swelling doesnt subside in another day I'm going to go get an xray. The End.

Sorry to hear. Feet and especially toes bleed a lot. I know first hand. My suchers come out Monday.

You need to stay off of it and keep it elevated. There's also an infection risk from showering. It sucks, but baths only and keep it bandaged and dry.

I broke my finger the day before my planned turbo install weekend. It got slammed in a frieght elevator door. I was too stubborn and disappointed to go to the doctor. I installed the major components with a splint on the finger. After a few days and the swelling didn't go away I finally got x-rays and it broke it 3-4 places. And they cast it and I wasn't happy.

I feel your pain. As I reached down to pull an IS300 front rotor out of the box, it fell out and I tried to jerk my hand out of the way. Almost got it out.

well most of the swelling has subsided and I can walk on it without any real pain. I think I may have lucked out big time. It landed about an inch back from the middle between my big toe and the one next to it. So it didnt hit any bones.

I was doing the work in my kitchen. I'm at college right now and the kitchen is the only place in my apartment that isnt carpeted. I'd been home for hours and had taken my shoes off. It flying off the table is something that never even crossed my mind as possibly happening.
