Joe's lambo thread reminded me of an episode of Voyages I saw a few nights ago on the history channel. It started discussing Hitler's want of a volks wagen (people's car) and the creation of the beetle. Then told of the creation of the 356 from mostly beetle parts. After this the introduction of the 911 and a brief mentioning of the 928. Really great show, may be a bit dragged out for some viewers. Was really hoping to find some video but alas all I found was it for sale:
