what an awsome idea!

there was a newspaper article back when I was in highschool that said something like 50% of street beggars actually make over $50K/year taking advantage of peoples kindness (and stupidity).
I've also met people in the German subways that are "beggars". I actually hung out with one named "Tick" quite a bit. This dude didn't want a real job because he had one and it sucked having to do other peoples' work on their terms. So he became a subway beggar. I saw his degrees (3 of them, 2 bachelors degrees one in physics and one in electrical engineering, and a masters in philosphy), he had worked in 14 countries other than Germany including China, USA, Austria, and Australia (his native country). Tick is probably one of the most intellegent and experienced people I've ever met.... and he is a beggar living off a small income of about 85K euro a year. His occupation is drinking rum in the subway.

1.68 x 33 (cycles/hr) x 3.6 (cars) x 8 (hours) = $1312 a day
118 cars an hour? 944 cars a day? Give me a break.
yes, some beggars do make a good amount of cash, I've heard a news report when I was in Richmond of some guys make close to 40k a year standing on the corners.
But don't go making a stupid video with bad actors. The dude couldn't own the house or car. He'd be audited if he declared no income or an income and didn't pay taxes. Plus just the mortgage, property taxes, and cars payments alone wouldn't make him that rich. And he wouldn't of boughten the house with cash, or he'd need a bank account, and without an address to begin with, he couldn't have opened the bank account. If he did buy that house with cash, if would have taken over a year to save up the cash and then dropping down a few sack fulls of $1 bills.

fake - but do the math. being reasonable allowing for changes in lights, being moved on etc - try 20 cars per hour for $1 x 8 hour day, for 6 days a week - your only up to $960 per week. x 50 weeks per annum thats 48k - hardly worth getting out of the cardboard box for.
Tax free? I'd say it would be worth while.
Also depends on your location. In Ann Arbor the begger income is much higher than say in detroit.

just cause im a negatvie nacy doesn't take out any entertainment. i laughed at first, and then lokoed at the numbers and was like, come on, at least make it halfway believable. I know for a fact that some guys do make 40-50k a year doing that ****. this was just a little too good to be true sort of thing.
