Default What cable tv adapter do I need?

I am relocating a tv in my house to a basic digital Comcast receiver with only one coaxial input and one coaxial output. It is one of those that you keep the tv on channel 3 and change channels through the little box. The tv's coaxial inputs are broke (damn refurbished tv!) but I have rca or s-video or hdmi inputs that work.

Can I get a converter that does coaxial to any other of my working inputs? If possible, can someone link to the exact part? I see a variety of up/down/sideways converters and not quite sure which does what. Gracias!

Take your cable box to the cable company and have them exchange for a newer box that has hdmi output.

**** yeah, how much are you paying a month and you don't even have a goddamned RCA out? That's ridiculous.

It's a free box but I'll go in and see if I can exchange it.

If for some reason the cable company can't hook you up (or wants to charge you extra for an "upgraded" receiver, an old VCR makes a handy RF to composite decoder.
