This guy is a douche, but he is right. You're supposed to make your car rememberable. Those cheap plain paper ones are crap. And while he is a douche, you would sit at your desk playing with his card after he leaves. You might play with this one longer though.

At least I know my tax dollars are going to something useful.

I would try to put it in the Rolodex so that I can store it somewhere, wait it doesn't fit. Next, I would have to leave it on the desk, move it around a few times because it is in my way, and finally toss his embossed card into the trash can because I am tired of moving it out of my way.
