My Miata is a garage hog. 2-car garage and it's in there by itself due to the Miata parts stacked... everywhere.
But my wife drives a 2004 VW Jetta TDI:

Which unfortunately usually looks like this:
I also have a dealer demo vehicle (internet sales manager at a Mazda dealer), usually a lightly used Mazda. Currently driving a 2015 Mazda6.
Parents are living with us currently too...Clean white 1998 Corvette (automatic blegh), and 2000 Chev pickup

Must say, I knew about and expected a strong Subaru content amongst forum members . What does surprise me is the strong count of German vehicles . Since starting the thread ,I've closed a deal on a low mileage 2006 Subaru Outback Xt for myself . As of next weekend everything in the driveway will be four cylinder and turbo charged . Consistency must count for something right ? A lot of the vechlcies I'm seeing are the same ones I've considered owning myself . Somewhere in my future there will be a six cylinder BMW. Seems likely there are certain qualities that turbo Miata owners gravitate towards for their real vechilces . Looking at my own garage ,utility and AWD seem to count for something though I'm not sure utility is the right word to describe the A4 Avant. Do really like how it looks though and it moves out nicely when asked. It's a great travelling car. The new to me Outback is going to spend the summer hauling our camping gear and canoe up the logging roads the Legacy just didn't quite have the ground clearance for. Been there done that , twice . I believe ,please correct me if I'm wrong but the head gasket issues where with naturally aspirated open deck 2.5 not the turbo motors . Both our previous Scubies needed head gaskets at in opportune times and both were the non turbo 2.5s. Apparently I don't learn so good .......boost most help the issue yes?

Our two Miatae compete for the one spot in the garage. The NC is my wife's daily, and the NA is just a weekend toy.
The rest of the garage is taken up by tools n' stuff, and my bike, currently a '15 Yamaha FJ-09...
Whichever Miata is outside shares the driveway with my E150 heli (and anything else) hauler, and Bronco project semi-daily.
I really need more space, and am seriously considering building a detached shop in the back yard...

We didn't have any 4-door cars in our stable and wife wanted a newer car but it had to be fun and stick. Fun, stick, 4-door and somewhat luxury is hard to come by in the US. It basically came down to a BMW or Audi. I hate the way the engine sits in the Audi's and that they are basically fwd with a diff in the rear for those times when it plows into corners (always) so a BMW it was. But of course we cant just get a 328i (they are like civics around here) so a 335i is what we got. It helped that it was off a lease, 3 years old with 36k on the clock....and was half the price of new (gots to love that high pressure fuel pump failures for bringing the price down on them).
The Saab I was basically left at my door step by my friend. I swore I would never own a Subaru but meh, it fits stuff and is trubo so that's cool.

This was basically how we ended up with our '05 Legacy GT in 2004... and the utility of AWD for snow in the winter was a big plus. If Subaru hadn't gone all Camrycord on the Legacy redux in 2010, we might have bought another. Instead we ended up with a G8GT. I loved it, but the wife didn't, so it didn't last long. She's loving her NC, though, and we just use the van if we need four seats.

This was in 2010 so I think it was a g35 4 door or this. To be fair the 4 door g35's were not the best looking things in the world and honestly just did not feel as refined, as good as the 335i with sport package and so on.
With a few mods its not even a comparison. My wife ran down a v10 m5 on the high way.
