Love 'em both but my fav is the .357, not as brutal. The .500 comes out for gonzo shooting.

Why buy something you can't shoot (if the .357 kicks too much). For me, it would be which has the cheapest ammo. It's really not a plinker but you still want to play with it.

The .357 is nothing for me. I single hand it accurately with zero issue. The kick of the .44 just feels more fun to me but ammo cost is a bitch.

Buy something you will shoot regularly. If you will avoid shooting/practicing with it because of ammo cost... choose something else.

I will play:

The big one is a Glock 22 .40 ex LE weapon. Arrived in poor condition, but clock recon'd it @ no charge. It has a LaserMax guide rod laser installed. Middle is a 23 .40. Won it in a Glock shooting tournament with the 22. Little boy is a Keltec PF9.

Standard Bushmaster AR .223. When I fall into a little extra money, I plan to get a Slide Fire Solutions stock for it.

Also have a couple of bolt action rifles but never took pics.

7.62x39 for the SKS. It's cheap overstock corrosive ammo, but the SKS chows down on that **** like butter. Plus I have a chromed lined barrel so the corrosive ammo isn't going to kill me, although I still clean immediately after firing. The big thing with these rounds was all the ammo was already on stripper clips, so I got about $50 worth of stripper clips as well, not to mention not having to load the ammo. Win.

Ok so I ended up getting Taurus M44 .44 Magnum for stupid cheap. Ive read all the horror stories with Taurus guns but for the most part, they are all limited to the pistols. The revolvers rarely go bad. For $580 out the door, Im more than happy. The gun performed flawlessly this past weekend after firing about 400 rounds through it. The attention is funny though when I start firing it. Every range I went to, people gathered around the second they heard the first shot lol. I took vids:

All in all, I keep waiting for something to crap out on the gun but it hasnt yet. The compensator ports on the barrel make this thing awesome to shoot as it really controls muzzle jump quite a bit. In two weeks, its time for the S&W 686 .357 Mag

All this gun talk has made me decide to sell my Remington 1100 12GA with 18" and 28" barrels. I'm going to try CL a few times (they will surely delete my ad). If it doesn't sell that way I'll have to look for other options.

Any idea what to ask for it? I'm not a shotgun guy and have no idea what these things go for.
