I DON'T HAVE OR WANT A PC PRO! People around town have some and they talk ****. I just need to know how they work and what they are to talk BS back...
Damn instant hate mail. Lol
I bought a EMU from a guy to sell to get an MS. If I can't get a profit on Ebay I'll use the EMU.
No flame suit here and no chaps on.
HAhahah. Yall are on these pc pro guys like SALT ON A SNAIL!
I just want to be able to appreciate the hate. Thats all.
I'll have to be more clear next time. Lol
Thanks

Let me clear this up.
I DON'T HAVE A PC PRO! nor do I want one.
I have an EMU off craigslist to sell for profit to get MS. If it doesn't sell I'll use it.
MY FIRE EXTINGUISHER IS ARMED AND READY. No flaming here
Damn Im going to have to rephrase my posting to be more clear. Lol. Yall are on these boys like a pit bull on a baby rabbit with peanut butter up its ***. LOL.

Yes, likely due to Toms view of tuning methods or something like that.
Because he feels that the extra fuel injected with a pcpro effectively cools the intake charge enough to not need an intercooler. Most of the engine failures were due to the knock from high intake temps.
Thus many of the quotes and phrases you see used around here such as "PCPRO= Intercooler. MS, EMU= Not an intercooler." "Needs more PCPRO"
Another reason the coldsides had such hot intake temps and tendency to knock is because they lack the crossover tube used in hotside setups which effectively acts like an intercooler, to a degree.

yes. basically you're modifying the pulse widths.
however it's also utilized to control a 5th injector (aka intercooler)
Tom has been unable to grasp the concept that: Gasoline 350 kJ/kg < Water 2256 kJ/kg
His tuning method is as following. Tune fuel to equal 13:1, then tune 5th injector to = 12:1. Dont retard timing, ignore knock.

the other sad thing is, as far as i can tell with their dynos, the two pc-pros do handle fuel well...if the 5th injector was for fueling, a FMIC was used and ignition timing taken care of it wouldn't be such a bad turn key solution. just expensive and it's simply easier to handle with an all-in-one ems package.
