reason prices are high is not because some idiots think their cars are worth it, but because some bigger idiots believe it and pay it, as long as there are people willing to pay the money, the sellers are gonna ask for it...
i paid $2200 for my 94R with 79K back in 2003, i could sell it for twice that now with 145K, just have to find someone thats gonna pay it...

as far as this guy goes, i dont think he forgot to put the seals in, he prolly meant he forgot to put the new ones in, im sure it has seals in it, just bad...
some go snag that car for like a grand...fix'er up with some seals and sell it

Fact is that clean NA's fetch pretty decent $$ and have been at a fairly constant price for a while now. Of course some find deals outside of the norm and that is often mistaken for the value range.
Early NBs are plummeting in value right now...they are the most vulnerable in terms of value loss. This will level out at some point.
Bottom line is that in reality one can sell a clean early NA at about the same price as a 99 or 00...if not more.
Bitch about it if you want but thats the way it is.

I have a clean '95 that will be going up for sale in a few weeks. It's black with a brand new tan top and tan leather interior. It only has 69k miles!

It currently has a Jackson Racing SC installed. I'm trying to decide whether to pull the SC and sell it separate or leave it on.

I am thinking $5200 with the SC or $4700 without. Worst case I wait till spring and get top $$$ for it.

The only downside to this car is that I pulled the torsen and put it in my car. It now has a 4.3 viscous.

what i would do if i was in your place is remove the supercharger, if you want to get the most out of it you have to sell it in stock form, enthusiaists typically do not want to overpay for a car (read above, lol) so you are looking for a different buyer, waiting till spring will add another year to your car, so market it under "get it now before price goes up in spring" type of deal, the buyer for this car will believe that...you want someone with 4-5 cash to spend on a fun weekend car, and thats usually not your younger folk
good luck in your sale, make sure you get plenty of internet coverage

up here in Vancouver the prices did drop for a while , but the the AutoX kids noticed that their Civics where getting their asses kicked by these 'girl' cars. So the price is now going up

Now they all want the 'cool' AutoX / Drift car.

You can spot them driving as they alway keep the top on (or hardtop) in summer. I guess it is an Asian thing by a drop top but never go topless???

A decent 1.6 will still fetch upwards of $7000 here. Couple of years ago that was $10K. I know people that have sold their done up turbo cars for over $17K.
