I lost Molly the pit bassett back in November - cancer got her way too soon - but as of today I've got twin pack of mutts.
Claire (left) is a rescue bassett/boxer/lab mix - 18 months old, a little skittish but adjusting well. And Miley (right) appears to be blue heeler and border collie. I got Miley from a family member who recently split with his wife, travels too much for work, and has grown kids who don't want a dog. Anyhow, these two have hit it off well so far, and I think they'll make a good pair...

We have a 2 year old Standard Poodle named Hugo.
Right after we brought him home -- he threw up on the car ride, so an immediate backyard bath was necessary.
A few weeks later, cleaned up and happier.
And pretty much what he looks like now. He's right around 45 lbs. He doesn't shed, his fur is soft and not greasy, he doesn't whine, he set a speed record in our backyard for laps completed in 5 minutes, he knows at least a half dozen tricks including "spin," "rollover," "shake," and "high five," his bark sounds like a dog twice his size, he tolerates us snuggling him at least 5 times a day, and he goes crazy when I come home. He's pretty much the most awesome dog ever.
