Because you are choking it, post *****!

Haven't noticed anything going slower, but have received a lot of error messages and have had problems loading pages.

the SQL server we're on is probably getting slow and we need to be moved.

we're at the mercy of the host until sucha time that the forum can afford a dedicated box, I sure as **** am not paying for it out of pocket.

I don't know how much a dedicated server would cost. Would that be something you would operate out of house or what?

no, I don't have a dedicated line that could support it or I would.
You'd have to basically rent the box or coloq it, on the cheap end 100/mo on the spendy end a few hundred, depending.

if I could get a reliable line here like FIOS or something with a dedicated IP I could consider running it off a box here. Running it off ym comcast line is not an option.

sent the host a support request, maybe they can help, I still think it's probably the SQL server I'm on, maybe they'll be kind enough to move me.

I can get a dedicated server for about $70 a month, but need to figure out a way to get the forum to pay for itself.

What options are there because our google clicks aren't gonna cut it.
Maybe you should look into being sponsored like homemadeturbo.com. Besides their dick enlargement sponsor their other supporting companies are great for turbo cars. Such as racing solutions tubing and what not. Plus board members always get a discount.

we're really much too small for much sponsorship methinks.

I'm going to have to hack the **** out of the DB to get it back down below 200 megs, that means attachments are getting whacked soon.

adsense generates about $30 a month BTW, enough for shared hosting but not a dedicated box. I need something to generate another $50.
