Thank you for reminding me that I dont need any of that junk.

buying a dyson and 20 other worthless things at woot costs more than buying a new dyson at any normal store.

I have yet to see a good deal on any of the woot sites, even during a woot off. Just seems like a business model built to target people with poor impulse control.

Well, yeah.

I just find the whole concept hilarious.

I wonder if there's some way to compare national labor statistics (with one-day resolution) to determine whether a clear relationship exists between the productivity of office-workers and the occurrence of woot-offs.

I realized the same thing for "groupon goods" emails I get. Wow groupon has those cool little RC helicopters everyone in my office is playing with! Oh wait I can get them for $10 cheaper on Amazon. Never mind.

Ever since Amazon bought Woot, it sucks. I used to buy their shirts religiously, but for about a year now they have sucked ***.
