My mother's parents hated my dad because he was, to them, some sort of long-haired, bearded hood who would never amount to anything. He went on to get a degree in mechanical engineering. Now, he's close to retirement and partially owns a company selling the equipment he used to design. Just goes to show, I guess.

Not to forget he did basically five-finger code for his OS... Kind of ironic what MS is doing with socalled 'hacked' xbox users.. Hello Pot? Kettle?
