Y U NO turbo'd?
Don't currently own miata(e) isn't an option, but put me down for that.
I had a turbo miata that I tracked and drove the sh*t out of years ago, heck before it was cool. Heck, it was back when Hustler was still in turbo diapers and e-thugging hard as hell...
Currently I have a Forester XT to play with, but the desire for another turbo miata is strong...

I've never owned a turbo car but have driven a few.
My current Miata will not see any mods at all since it has far too much rust and other issues for me to concern myself with. Just driving this one til it dies and getting what I want with the saved money, haha. At that point a turbo will come into play

I am still not turboed. Manifold, turbo, dp is on. But when I was about to start with the oil lines, it started snowing. Yay for swedish spring weather.
However i am still waiting for a turbo oil inlet piece thats in the mail. Probably will not get here until after easter :(

I sold my turbo (part out) and my car (a 92) back around 05. I was broke after college and unemployed for about 1 1/2 years and needed the money. (Turbo part out plus some inkind donations from this site) got me to an awesome study abroad in Israel for 3 weeks.
In 05 when I bought my 99 sport, it came from a really good guy in DFW who had autoX it. I got serious in to C-stock and so the idea of getting at turbo was put on the back burner. I then found work, paid back all my debts, and started grad school, no time or money to play with the car for the last 2 1/2 years. I also moved into an apt with no garage.
I am getting married in June and that is taking money. I'd like to put turbo parts on my wedding registry but my wife to be gave me that "no way" look. She like me racing and doing car stuff (keeper!!!) so its cool. I'd like to get a house eventually.
The final reason, I remember the slippery slope. First one part, then the next, then the next, and before I know I will be many thousands of dollars into the car. Right now the car still has a lot of money it but with it being na H/E/suspension/wheels tires it is still a smaller money pit. Plus i've stopped caring about "classing" and am just doing what I want to it.
Although I always cruse the site looking for parts and good deals.

Sold turbo Miata for tuition, once I finish my master's next year though I'll be buying another, or maybe do an LS1 FD, haven't decided. One of the saddest days of my life though was watching the Miata get loaded on to a trailer that wasn't mine. Dang fun cars.
I still lurk here because it's the best car forum on the web.

It took me a long time to get going on the project due to lack of time.
I've just completed an anniversary with the turbo. Wish I had done it much earlier. No downside at all.

Had turbo, shattered oil pump (see built motor into paper weight), went FE3 with plans of Holset turbo and 30psi.. Installed ITB's in the mean time, slow, love them, stuck with itbs.
been turbo for more than a year now. almost 20k miles 10psi. my only problem is a oil leak which ill be fixing this summer(pulling motor). also gona do a reroute while the engine is out.
