Thanks
When CA passed their "Bigger and Better" AWB (CA SB23, 1999) anything that was previously legally purchased after '89 Roberti-Roos AWB but before CA SB23 was grandfather in... provided you went to CA DOJ and registered it. Don't be surprised if this is the model everyone will look to, because it apparently "works"

See: 1989 Roberti-Roos Assault Weapon Control Act (AWCA ’89), 1999 CA-SB23, 2000 Kasler v. Lockyer, 2001 Harrott v. County of Kings, etc etc etc.

You should be.

Look back to Katrina. Enough said.

I have some ammo. No water or food, I'll just kill others and take theirs.

I thought you'd at least had something like the below for clean water in the event of a hurricane.

That, my good friend, is an antique Craftsman blow torch.

I used to convert them into touch lamps (with a red bulb at the tip, of course).

What's an antique torch like that worth? (minus the lamp ad on)

not too much, typically between $25 and $100 depending on condition. as with anything, there are rare examples that fetch way more coin. I had about 500 of them at one point.

this ahole rambles forever, but they're pretty damn cool to use:

I used to play with them a lot when I was a kid. I'm not quite sure how I didn't ever burn myself.

I went to Cabela's last week (which I hate due to commercial BS and super high prices) just to browse and I asked the guy at the gun counter if they have any Kel Tec Sub 2000's. The guy goes "we don't carry anything like that".
The next day I went to the local gun store that has AR's out the *** and supressors galore, and I said, "do you guys have any Kel Tec Sub 2000's?" The guy says, "not in stock, but we can order one in for ya." I'm like, "I'm not sure how serious I am about buying one, I just wanted to see one and look it over." The guy goes, "If you want one, we can put you on the list, but there's about 30 people on the list right now."
What gives? Are they that high of demand? It seems like a cheap POS of a gun to me...

Nice. I'm running the 16" BCM BFH upper on my one AR. It's got about 100 rounds through it just to confirm function. It's a bit heavier than I'd like... I'd straight trade it for one of their 16" lightweights if anyone wanted to trade up.

... or I guess I could just build another AR

Thinking about selling my Saiga/AK and starting an AR build. The AK is fun, and I know it'll work forever, but it really is a mess of terrible ergonomics.
