Yes, those are all 5.7 handgun magz and yes, that is an unmolested Ruger 10/22.

So if the 5.7 is so shitty, why are you staying with it?

What do you mean? You're confusing me dude!

I can carry pretty much w/e I want so I rotate. The only constant is my little S&W Chief's Special in stainless.

Just thinking of what you said earlier in the thread... AIDS or not, I feel it's a great CQB round - and the fact you have awesome mag capacity is a plus.

I grab the 9mm Colt first as it's loaded with better anti-personnel rounds (Winchester Ranger LE ammo), the FSN is only there in case I need to shoot someone in a tank.

That was cool to see the AK fired in slow motion. Shocked how much that barrel flexes..

I really like this, except it's probably too expensive for the military to go for:

Typical of Picatinny. Thinking switch positioning would dictate whether the weapon was designed primarily as fully or semi auto. These are the same people that rejected a firing plastic blank that operated nicely AT THEIR RANGES because of the "quality of the proposal" (paperwork).

Magpul??

Personally I like their products. After seeing a PMAG shot with an AK47 and still operate with half the spring hanging outside the magazine.. That said, I will agree the selector switch theory is, well, silly. The AK's selector switch in my mind would have full auto be all the way down if that was the "primary MO" of the weapon. Why do I think that? You're under fire and the weapon is on safe; Do you stop and look at the side of it very carefully selecting the automatic position? No, I'd want to slap that thing open and fire fast as possible.

Do I think the primary operation condition of the AK is semi or full auto? I don't believe there is such a thing, nor do I really care TBH.

I dont know about being more expensive, maybe now... but from the construction it seems like there is less metal thus less machining needed so materials would be cheaper.

Sorry I forgot. Magpul's products aren't manufactured by colt so they must be garbage.

I've got some early p mags. They're great and all but they're too fat to stuff into my pockets.

I love this show.

First two seasons proved the biggest **** talkers out of the gate usually perform the worst. Perfect example is this tool bag Michael Marelli, a court Clerk.. LMAO. "I've seen seasons one and two of Top Shot. As I'm watching I'm thinking "I can do that. I'm better than these people.""

First challenge of S3 was shooting 3 targets with a Smith and Wesson 500 mag revolver. All contestants were paired with someone who had similar skills and race to see who could take out their targets first. The outcome of this first shootout determined the teams, all winners on one team and losers on another. The court clerk didn't hit a single target with his revolver.

Did I mention that I love this show??
