What would you compare it to? I've found even the most exotic of calibers to be manageable (.458 Lott, 450/400 Nitro, etc).

Shouldn't be too bad. I'm not a fan of sporterizing **** because I enjoy some good wood furniture but I'm sure if I refinish the stock and bead it, it'll be fine.

It's really not that bad. All you need to do is spray everything down with diluted Windex and scrub it. My K98 used to live off corrosive ammunition.

Not at all. Was nice information to have and fairly interesting the how different some of those primers are. Some of them are ******* terrible and one or two aren't bad at all.

TBH like you said, it doesn't really matter if its corrosive or not. Windex FTMFW.

Shot mine this last weekend. Went clean through a 2ft diameter palm tree, seems powerful and is f in loud. I also had problems with the bolt being a punk after 2 rounds. Would really like to see what it has in it with a good scope. Might pick up a few more this weekend a the gun show in San Antonio.

Anyone have any experience with the M&P9? I have a 2010 model SW9VE and love the way it shoots have close to 3000 rounds through it.. I can take a man size target down from 50-75 yards. Will I like the upgrade or is there really not a difference?

<<<HATIN'>>>

I'd shy away from any S&W automatic. I rue the day I picked up the few M&Ps thinking S&W's automatic pistol crew had gotten over the issues of yesteryear but no, they were huge piles of steaming **** but I managed to trade them for a couple Glocks. Hell of a deal if you ask me.

<<</HATIN'>>>

GO FOR IT BRO, LEMME KNOW HOW IT TURNZ OUT LOL!!!

I'm trying to understand how the M&P9 can be a hunk of **** when their hunk of **** model SW9VE has performed flawless for me? I think I've had 2 stove tops and it was the same day, 900rds without clean, 200rds that day, and $8 academy ammo. I don't know a better test than that.

Everyone will argue with me but do this:

1) Buy a Walter P22
2) Buy a shitload of the cheapest .22LR ammo that you can find
3) ?????
4) Profit

I LOVE the way the Walther feels and you cannot shoot anything cheaper than you can a .22. The pistol is kind of expensive but you will more than make up for it in the cost of ammo. Also, it is easier to load than some .45acp Glock and easier on your hands and stuff when you fire it 500+ times a day. Take a friend and do 500 rounds each at targets that you have printed off the internet. Lots of fun for little money. I go (or used to - work has been busy lately) once a week. I pay for the gun/ammo/range membership and friend pays for lunch.

My M&Ps are turds but I'm an elitist and I'm living in 1993 when all S&W automatics are garbage.

You can go ahead and register it as an SBR with the ATF and then go shoot as much dirt as you'd like because you ain't gonna hit **** while bumpfiring.

Pusha pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one... Bumpfiring is for just showing off. Also be careful with firing Glocks TOO fast. We had one of the 17s we converted to full-auto explode on us due to that. Had to reduce the cyclic rate on our other one to avoid this in the future. The rate prior would empty a 33rd mag before the first casing hit the ground. They also don\'t do well with suppressors in full-auto. But you don\'t have to worry about any of this as there are no transferable ones on the market for individuals.

Also MASSIVE +1 to rmc on the Walther P22... Really fun guns and the barrel is pre-threaded. All you need is an adapter and suppressor and you have a fun little toy that is cheap to shoot and hearing friendly. Those things are pellet gun quiet when suppressed by the way...

Old man story: Back in 1960, I learned to bump fire my M1 Garand while in basic training; which was pretty much fun and had the barrel glowing red after a few 8 round clips. They won't let me do it at the range I go to now.

Yeah, they kind of drawn upon bumpfiring at ranges for good reason. Especially the way most are setup. It is kind of fun to take full autos though and have people gather around to watch you shoot them.

Yeah, saw it at the gun show this weekend and thought about making something for the glock that would do the same. IDK, it looked pretty easy to use in person. Its just a spring loaded slide right?

It's pretty simple in design, it's just a sheath that slides over your buffer tube. It's a novel idea but, like I said, not something I'd spend $300 on.

Feel free to make some bullshit like this for $10 if you really want to **** away a bunch of ammunition and risk both your safety and the safety of those around you:

If it's the same stock I'm thinking of then no, no spring. There was a different "bump fire stock" that had a spring or something, at first the ATF said it was fine, then they changed their minds.

Personally, I don't see why it's worth $300+. Full auto/simulated full auto is cool and all, but I see it as a sort of waist IMHO.

The whole idea of bumpfiring is for dirt shooting fagggots who are too poor for a machine gun.
