I don't pretend to know anything about 3D printing, but a quick google says PLA+ melts at ~450*F... a center fire rifle suppressor will easily reach that with any kind of rapid fire.
All of the 3D printed suppressors I've seen in person were metal. I wouldn't gamble the wait and $200 tax stamp on any kind of polymer..

That's what surprises me, given that a metallic suppressor can hit 600-700F in a relatively short time, even recognizing that most filaments are going to be better insulators than they are conductors. I just struggle to wrap my brain around it given the gas temperatures at play.
Another link with a video of some thermal imaging along with some info on why it works.

The size washer used for the FTN.3 to print your serial number has gone from 98cents to $8.98 on amazon. Supply and Demand working in real time. Also CF tubes that fit have also gone on back order.

You also need to update your location since you moved. Go buy a MKE AP5-P and take it apart to built the KM5 or the SF5. The AP5-5 is only a few hundred more then the parts kits needed. Do you already have a 3dprinter rob? I would also recommend starting out with some easier builds before going straight to the KM5.

Yes, need to update the location to TN. I bought a 3D printer in 2018, I think after you started talking about yours. Started with an Anet A8, then Ender 5, then Neptune 2, and currently have a Bambu Lab P1S. FWIW, I graduated from my K40 with a cooler full of ice water to an autofocus Omtec AF2028-60 with a CW-5200. I think it was a lot of money to spend on a hobby system that I only use once a month but it sure is nice. I'll take a look at the MKE AP5-P, thanks! It is a shame that since I bought 30 acres in Bum **** Egypt I never shoot. I need to change that.
I picked up a AP5-p last year. The Turkish Lira dropped a ton and you could find them for around $1000-$1200. They may be a bit more now, but it is a ton of fun to shoot. You want to make sure you get the tri-lug version. No real differences between the full size and the shorter one. Mostly a personal preference between the two.
If you just want to HK Slap you can build the FGC-9 MK2 or Stingray version. Those were built to be slapped. I think total build cost is around $200-$300 depending on how much DIY you want to do.

I finally did an eform1 yesterday afternoon for a 3dprinted silencer. People are getting sub 24 hour returns. I realized my fuckup was doing it Friday afternoon. No way the ATF is approving it on a weekend. So hopefully sometime next week I get it, then my printer goes squirt squirt squirt.
I am looking forward to my local range going cray cray over a 3dprinted silencer. They are a bit FUDDish, but good people overall.

You doing a trust of individuals? People are getting sub 1 week turn around on indivudual eform4's. I don't think trusts are going as fast. I am still waiting on my approval for my trust that I filled back in February.
