Yet Another Gun Thread
My German Shepherd barks (long hair, all black) whenever she sees/hears something out of place, plus she's got teeth and a lust for blood, I know a dog may not be a possibility, but if your methhead neighbor sees a friggen wolf-dog hanging around your apartment, he's gonna find a different place to steal ****.
Anyone her wish to school me about Glock 17 magazine compatibility across generations?
Looking to get a fourth generation 17, mildly concerned the mags will not work in a G17 configured Sub2000...

Third gen mags will work fine provided you don't set your fourth gen up for a LH config, then your third gen mags will not work.
Quick question though, why would you bother with a fourth gen?

I've been told the bugs with the different recoil spring setup have been fixed and it is a nice evolution.
Newest addition to my (very small) collection:

(not my pic, but w/e)
This is going to sound retarded, but I cant figure out how to break the gun down. I found the manual and it said to do it the same way that I was trying, then I found a thread where someone was complaining that the instructions left out a step but they failed to explain what that step was...
So, anybody have any experience with this gun (Sig Mauser M2)?

This. I'd held (never shot) Glocks for 15yrs and never felt attached to one like when I picked up my Gen 4 Glock 19.
Dave, I'm still loving this combo. Put a red dot on mine and rigged up a way to attach a spare mag to the butt stock. Wish I worked less and had more time to shoot.
The only Glocks I've ever had issues gripping have been the larger-framed earlier Gen models, even with my larger hands. I was always hesitant to purchase one of my very own for this reason but after shooting a Gen 3 Glock 20 SF, I was sold.
I shoot three to five days a week. Mostly just dirt, debris, water, stuffed animals or clays. I actually shot at a public range earlier today and loathed ever minute of it. I'm a big fan of shooting innawoods.
This gun is now $250 at Buds. Mine has been in a "shipping" status for 4 days now. I sent them an inquiry through their online system about when it will be "shipped". Last time I ordered from Buds, I got the "shipped" a couple hours after the "shipping".
Also... just bought this:

$197 shipped from Buds. I'd been looking for a bolt-action .22lr for a few weeks now. This gun was $240 a few days ago... just had a huge price-drop so I got it. A few buddies have some extra scopes lying around for me to try, so I might not even have to buy one.
