You know I've been thinking this very same thing recently.... and you get to actually shoot at people with airsoft...

Oh no... There I go.. That must be the "gateway drug" to actually shooting people...

Cowboys and Indians; Cops and Robbers; War; Cap Pistols; BB Guns. All part of my youth.

Not even going to rant on taking my shotgun to school on the bus.

Now kids get suspended for making gun gestures with their fingers. It's a whole new world out there.

I used to paint the safety-orange muzzles on my toy guns to make them look more realistic.

I taught rifle shooting at the Boy Scout summer camp as a youth, and taught pellet rifle shooting to Cub Scouts at the summer day camp. As with anything, some kids weren't ready.

Dad has trophies from competitive shooting with the US Army rifle team from way back when so I had a competent instructor. Defensive shooting is such a different skill, though.

Not for the better.. They want to fundamentally "Change" America.. Guess the last ~238 years weren't good enough?

Cool... 'years' ago, as a scout leader (child molestation accusation-free) I lead our troop to their marksmanship victory. It started as a tie between our troop and another. I let the best marksman shoot for the tie-breaker... well, their leader was a good marksman leader himself, so they tied. The range officers decided the scout leaders to shoot.. my oppenent was a current state trooper and with .22 Marlin in hand, bested him by 5cm of a 5-shot group.

Also helped many scouts earn their Archery badge by teaching gap shooting

Times may have changed, but their may be hope yet in our youth - if they don't get brain-washed by Libs...

Did anyone happen to notice that besides outlawing all police pistols with high capacity magazines, it will be illegal in New York own an M1 Garand if you have any ammunition for it(standard 8 round en bloc clip).

You could always keep loose ammunition and purchase 5 round clips, but any standard clips would need to be discarded under their perverted thinking.

With crappy A2 birdcage variant on it? At least put a good compensator on the darn expensive rifle.

Not sure I like the monolithic uppers though. Otherwise pretty easy to build... SS barrel, Trijicon optics, Magpul stock, cheap magpul grip, standard trigger etc...

Thank god they got rid of that pistol grip. Someone could have really gotten hurt! They should just put a steeper angle on the grip with a u shape going up into the stock and have the stock completely surround the spring housing but not touch it just to really stick it to 'em with the technicality.
