Where there is just so much to do, so little time, and you don't even know where to start working again.
I just can't get back to work.. Don't know why. Everytime I go to my shop, I end up working on another car. Its like automotive ADD.

I also have the "oh I also wanna do ____" problem. Projects that pop up in the middle of other projects. I think I've got about 400.
best bet is to write down all the things you want to do and a time estimate for each one. If you have a window of time, pick one and bang it out.

+1 for the list. It puts it into better perspective. My mind tends to race around to all the different things I want to do and all the money that I'll have to spend if I don't get a plan.

I acually just made a list two weeks ago. Filled a paper with 95% of what I need done.. Havent tallied a thing off yet. Good thing its still snowing here.
been there.....Hate it. you just need sombody to motivate you, im motivated at my once very hated job...because I realized hey The better I do my job the more money in my pocket from bonusus that can go into building my project?
time is the biggest issue I have on working on my prod car, Working 40-80 hours a week then running around taking care of random duties at the same time, and when I do get the time its usually bad outside
working all day and taking masters courses at night = car gets no love :(
i cant wait for some tlc at spring break. The girl will be getting a stupid dent fixed and some claybar and wax. Maybe even a polish

Trouble with a list is that my list grows faster than I can cross things off.
But to answer your question, yes, I get frustrated at looking at the pile of stuff that should be installed on my car just sitting there in my basement.

Every paycheck since I started working has been spent on paper at least 3 months in advance. I don't get a paycheck and say "Ok, what can I buy for my car?" I ask myself "What's the next item on my list?"
I knew a friend who got a $3000 windfall and had to decide for about a month on what to spend it on. I got a $3000 windfall this past spring and it was gone in 10 days, between paying off my car and ordering $1800 in suspension parts and a front lip.
If you gave me another $3k, it would be gone in a week on turbo parts.
