Whats wrong with it? And they have had pancake and sausage on a stick for like 20 years. So someone can eat a plate of chocolate chip pancakes and sausage and no one bats an eye, but if you put it on a stick it's bad?

Way to stand in the way of the evolution of breakfast. ***
This gives me a new idea of something else to try homemade. Homemade blueberry pancake batter, and some good link sausage on a stick. Lightly fry it, and eat. Dip it in some Yellow Label syrup or honey.

Bacon wrapping is optional. Make the pancake dog a little bacon trench coat. I actually did some wicked grilled Jalapeno peppers filled with cream cheese, scallions and garlic and wrapped in bacon earlier today. Anything bacon wrapped is automatically good. Maybe not so healthy.
Instant pancake batter is low in calories, and along with low fat pork sausage, you could actually make a decently healthy thing out of those. As healthy as a batter covered sausage that has been fried can be.

Seriously though, did this thread make anybody else think of Sam & Max's famous Flaming Weasel on a Stick?
