TxMC Harris Hill Event - Calling all TxMCers
So NASA is scheduled to hold a HPDE/TT event at H2R in two weekends, on JUN 30, JUL 1. The problem is that the signup rate is pretty dismal, so there is at least a risk they may cancel the event. Reportedly the decision will be made tomorrow.
NASA thread:

So I have two thoughts:
1. Is anyone else going to sign up that has not signed up yet?
2. What will we do for the TxMC? My suggestion is we can have a non-official event like we did last year, where I have you guys there as guests. I will probably be there regardless, hell maybe all weekend.
Crosstalk link to Trackjunkies here. Just post there if you are already a member. I am posting it here for those who do not surf at Trackjunkies.

If you did not get the memo...
NASA Drivers,
Thank you so much once again for your support and signing up for the HPDE/TT event at Harris Hill.
Unfortunately at this point in time, it looks like we will be severely short on the number of cars we need to have in order to hold the event. We really need about 35 more cars, but if we can get 30 that will suffice. Tough order to fill on short notice, but I've been surprised before.
NASA staff is doing its best to beat the bushes for more participants. If you know of someone who is planning on entering and has not yet done so, please have them email right away.
I want to let everyone know by noon tomorrow if we are on or if we need to cancel the weekend, so please have anyone interested contact me.
If we do need to cancel, hopefully we can setup a later date as a replacement. Regardless, I will let you know how we can refund or transfer to another event.
