Ace Auto Recycler at 5728 Elliot Reeder Rd. 76117 has an 87 2.3-16 Benz there with an engine listed as "CORE" (stock # 8F168). Though they've got recycle in the name, it's really a junkyard and they have no info on the condition of any parts including this engine. IF I were to buy this engine I'd like to have some idea of the condition- for example whether the crank rotates, or if there's a hole in the block, or it's cracked open in the engine bay. Anybody interested in doing this hit me up with a PM to discuss compensation.

Thanks to Bond for checking this out. Took some pics/video and saved my ***. Turns out the engine isn't what they're selling it as. It's a standard single cam 2.3. That means it would have showed up here and I'd be stuck with it, since ACE has a "no returns for any reason" on items shipped freight. :(
