that guy needs to learn the "drive where they where" trick.
If you pick it at the beginning you could literally be fucked, if you wait to see if they snap it will be too late. My last student did just that while avoid an s2k that locked up the rears, then snapped to his initial position. Lucky for us we were on the front straight and had lots of grass to drive in. |
Oh well, since I caused the controversy . . . .
There are examples in that vid (which I put together for fun . . . and I think it is pretty entertaining if I do say so myself) where I do "drive where they were." The red/black turbo Miata that loses it going into the MSR-C Rattlesnake complex, the MX-5 Cup Car that loses it at the MSR-C hairpin, etc. There are other examples where I don't and choose to go wide off track but UNDER CONTROL. That's the key for me . . . choose the option that keeps me in control of the car so that I have, uh, options. If I have a guy wipe out in front of me and I'm already cornering at 1.2G+, I'll choose to unload the car and go outside rather than attempt to ask the car to give me more than it has. Only thing worse than one spinning car in a turn is two spinning cars in a turn. The gray M3 at MSR-C Little Bend is a good example of that. The yellow S2000 at TWS Turn 4 is another. $0.02. Back to the fun. |
I love the runoffs that you have. There is nothing to hit!
|
MSR-C really is an awesome facility . . . only 7 miles from my house too. Purpose built for guys who want to drive 6-figure (even some 7-figure) cars hard.

Back to regularly scheduled programming (note the arm outside the window and which side the car initially rolls onto):

He's a regular Brian Boitano.

Kudos to the engineers behind the C7 traction control system. This car would have been a smoking hulk 10 years ago. I feel sorry for the poor instructor who desperately keeps trying to give handle signals
|
That was literally painful to watch. How do you keep fucking up your apex after 20+ minutes on the track. Hilarious that he states the Porsche driver being a "Professional Driver".
|

Lol at the GTR going off. Was that a novice session? Thats some crazy passing for novices.

i wondered about the chevy camera thing. it's going to record more D-Bags than hero's.
|
I love the instructor in that. Just waves his hands for 20 minutes. He probably should have opened his mouth and let the guy know he was driving like an idiot.

"Eat a f*ck*n d*ck you little b*tch! I'm f*ck*n flat out like a motherf*ck*r!" (copied and pasted from a more polite site). https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1435338388 Here are a couple of classic YouTube comments (no longer available since the video was deleted):

The only thing that asshat cared about in the whole wide world was passing the porche... makes his "eat a dick" commentary when he finally does... and withing 30 seconds is passed by the same guy he was so pleased with himself for passing.
At 3:10 what the fuck did he pass over to the instructor while driving at high speeds in traffic on the track? Did he say "Hold my glasses?" Or "here is some Dramamine"? Keith |

That NASCAR finish was impressive. Impressive he walked out of it.
