any turbo car can, but that's just stupid. i didnt know there was a name "dose" for it. WTF does DOSE mean, and how the **** did that become a term. and what's with the high percentage of youtube videos of "douche" and the worst bovs ever recorded?

in order to do dose you cant use a bov so that the air rushes back out through the turbo and out the filter.

This may only be the case in extremely high boost applications or earlier turbos where the metalurgy wasn't as good. I'm not sure but I read it somewhere. It may be a moot point as far as we're concerned.
Either way, I would try to avoid it just on the basis that wheel speed would be reduced between shifts and spool after shifts would have more lag.
I'm guessing the "dose pipe" is just a pipe you put on the turbo inlet. Looks like they recommend a specific tuned length to resonate at the frequency of the ungodly noise.
I ran a turbo Civic for all of a couple days without a BOV... the sound was about to drive me crazy, not to mention the lag when shifting sucked.
I don't think this type of compressor surge is as damaging as "real" compressor surge, ie, running a turbo to the left of the surge line. You really have to put the wrong size turbo on your engine to run into that.
