No baby, I was kidding about you trying on the harness bar wrap. I would never want you to do that. I mean, unless you want to.....do you want to....because if you did, I would totally.......

Tell you what David, give me a couple good posts per week here over the next couple of months and I'll wear an "I love Texas" shirt to my next terrorist meeting.

sam sorry to say this but STFU. The original poster is not out to make money on this.

They guy they are referring to does take more photos of KINOD type ricer clubroadster miata but he was nice enough when I met him. (I didnt know who he was before either).

If you have a problem with any of the cars in the photos most are from the Houston Miata club, and are my friends, and I can tell you they are mostly raced be it autox, or track.

How's that for a couple of post counts per weeks.

WOW, I hope my post didn't get in the middle of whatever the heck is going on here. I just found the picture of the hooker boot rollbar pad, and then the chick with the sour face. Thought I would make a funny

You've already provided me enough entertainment.

In the end, my "agenda" was to show off the Houston Miata community to the world. Yes, the world. When Linhbergh asked me to put together a meet, I knew this would be good for our Houston tuner scene, as SpeedHunters is an international blog, and generates millions of hits on the internet. They are right behind AutoBlog and Jalopnik on the blogosphere.

When I posted the pictures we took on here, my intention was just to share photos of the meet, nothing more. I was not trying to sell anything to anyone. But when I am met with hostility in a car forum that caters to the very same cars I want to showcase, that's definitely disappointing. I definitely don't mind photo critique, as I'm not very good at taking photos, but to say, "Those pictures all suck from you trying too hard to make them 'professional'", that's not a very constructive.

But like i've said, you've already provided me enough entertainment, and it should be ME thanking you for such jollies. After posting up your post on the MaydayGarage Facebook, it's apparent I'm not the only one who feels that you don't know what you're talking about.

I thank you- 7,681 times.

The Internet: Serious Business.

MT.net is about function over form (in general). Stylized pictures are just not what this place is about.
Most of us don't know/care about the houston miata club or what your cars look like. Nothing against you or your clan, but we just don't care. Hell, you didn't even make a newb thread.

I find it interesting how differently this thread went compared to another thread with similar pictures of the same event simply because it was started by a reputable member here.

Hmmm. I haven't taken a face shot like this since that one time I got drunk with my roommate in college.

So, the guy got out of jail 5ish months ago? Was he let out of jail for a while to interview "Smoky" Nagata? Here is an article where Linhbergh interviewed Nagata back in April of 2010, 11 months ago. I thought he was in the slammer?

well i certainly appreciate the interest, meet, pictures, etc... i had a great time hangin' with everyone and hope to see a few of the houston peeps at our miata challenge event at harris hill road in june. don't worry about the hatin', that's how everyone (new) gets greeted around here. it usually weeds out the *****'s. you ain't *****'s are ya? lol j/k... but really, they know of speedhunters, or should. a year or so back they featured one of the mt.net track gods "savington" and i think helped get him a spot in the super lap battle which was invitation only. anywho, love the pics, don't let these guys discourage you from livin' your dream. or coming back for that matter!
