I love this swap (the one the OP posted) - my first car was a Probe GT which has the KLDE motor and I did a swap to the JDM version of the motor - the KLZE. Great motor. In a miata it must be quite a blast.

That said though, the car as it sits at that point in the video, is no vette hunter by any means anywhere but an autocross course, which he clearly stated is the only avenue the car is intended for, so good thing because in terms of accelleration the vetter is going to still be superior. Many CSP miatas are pushing 150 to the wheel on our motor, so this swap doesn't put them that much higher and with a slightly heavier engine... worth the effort? Perhaps considering that this motor may have room to grow where the BP is pretty maxed at that point.
180 whp is nasty fun, but not blindingly fast by any means. A properly setup autox vette in anything but AS or SS may still be a lofty target for this car.
