Default Me vs 350zLS2 (possible repost)

Sorry if this is a repost, i havent been on here in months. I lost by a couple cars but still a cool vid! Im at 16psi on pump gas in this video. We are due to race again, this time with my 14" miata wheels instead of the 16" DR-16's, 22psi and race gas. Ill get a video up when it happens. Should be a closer match up.

I think your going to need more than 22 psi to beat him. My friend raced him with his 400+ whp Civic that went 11.6 @ 117 with only a 1.9 60ft. He pulled on the Z, but once the Z sprayed, he pulled on my friend at the top of 4th and won by a couple lengths.

You probably won't gain much more on your turbo at 22 psi than you are at 16 psi. You're out of turbo.

Im friends with the kid in the 350. A 175 shot is what he used to beat your buddys civic. Mark told me he beat the thing by bus lengths. As for the turbo, 16 to 22 psi was a night and day difference for me. The weight of the stock wheels (15lbs a piece less the the dr-16) also make a night and day difference. Like i said we'll see what happens. At the end of the day i dont really care about loosing by a few cars to a mid 11sec car lol. Its only a miata!

Dude your 2854 is way out of efficiency at 22 psi, not only should there be no real gain but you risk over spinning and killing it. Not to mention your ait's will probably go through the roof. At 16 psi your on the edge.

I have to take some window tint off of the car I just bought. Maybe I can borrow it from his wife?

SO let's look at what you just said. First, your gt28 Miata at 16psi only got beat by a couple of lengths, yet a civic that weighs sub 2100 lbs with a gt3071r running 24 psi and making over 400 whp got beat by bus lengths. Make sense to you? Plus, your friend with the Z refused race from a dig.

Bottom line. I think drag racing is gay and don't really care either way. I tell my friend this all the time.

The civic got sprayed on with a 175 shot so yeah it does make sense to me. I raced him on motor only. The videos right there lol. You can clearly see my car close to his. I dont know what else to say.
