Not sure why he would try to restart it after a bunch of smoke comes out of the engine bay.

Impressive. He also had something fall off in the engine bay just after it turns over, at 0:46. Maybe just a socket left on a coupler clamp.

where can i get that "DR25" heatshrink? I need to clean up my wiring.
