If any of you guys are down in the socal I would be happy to do a photoshoot with you
I think most the mt.net crowd (renowned for their good looks, virility, freedom from pathogens, and their motility) would rather have a photo shoot with her than with you. That subset of us which are happily married, of course, don't see the appeal.

Photography degree I presume. The wife is doing culinary stuff out here in Nashville. For what a degree costs there I would hope the graduates make bank. No offense to you and yours, but I have no idea how a photography major makes serious cash after school. Other than luck and maybe some skill. It might also be I have a hard time paying someone for something I can do well enough for my needs, myself and a decent camera. I've met a few photo majors here. Not many, but they seem way too reliant on Photoshop to make up for poor camera skills/timing. The lady we hired for my wedding is a perfect example. There isn't a photo she took that doesn't need some touch up.
Also if I see one more photo student taking pictures of old train tracks and calling it art I'm going to stab/beat them to death with my cane.
Edit: Found this again

Don't get me wrong. I see photography like dancing. You can teach anyone to do it to some degree, but some people just have a natural talent. Some photo majors I meet just don't have the imagination for it.

I also hate art students in general. Is this is coming from a guy who took three years of computer graphics and photography in high school and went to art school.
Plus eveyrone knows that all anyone needs is a $2,000 lens to be a good photographer.

I taught myself how to be a mediocre photographer in less than a year. Prior to that a photograph I had taken was used on the apple website. Call it my gift to them for all the hard work. Also I knew a product engineer there and it was a picture of him and his wife at their wedding.
