That is what I plan on doing next!

I just bought this bundle used:
Voom Car-PC Bundle (Voom [black], Intel D201GLY2 ITX, 1024MB RAM, 40GB SATA HDD, M2-ATX, P4 Adapter) [BUNDLE]

And I plan on buying a 7" touchscreen VGA monitor.

@urbansoot - Have you got pics of your install? I would be really interested to see, how you installed it all.

I don't see it listed on the specs PDF. Maybe you can find it. http://www.compulab.co.il/fitpc2/dow...fitpc2-man.pdf

See if I wanted to do an In car Computer, I would want it to act more like an Ipod Touch or something similar to that. I would love to have texting (maybe with a Verizon or ATT wireless network hookup) and maybe an internet access or torrent or something of that nature but I think that having 'apps' or 'widgets' instead of a Windows operating system would be kick ***. That is something that I would love to work on in the future for myself, maybe even something that could be produced for other car enthusiasts as well.

I was looking at that MP3 Car site that you linked to earlier and one of their applications had blue tooth enabled phone use, but what I was wondering is if you can text and make calls and all that with the screen and just have the phone in your pocket....
