Lol, I got drunk and started smacking the dash board of my lancer a while ago (I was the passenger). The airbag system warning light was on for a day or two. I think it was to Queen even.

 

This one is still great!

 

Epic...woulda happened to Wayne and Garth if the Pacer had been equipped with airbags.

 

I hope I don't look like that guy when I sing Queen. Self note: I need to find our road trip footage!

 

I wonder how insurance deals with that one.

 

I didn't know air bag sensors were installed inside the car....so fake and staged.


also, I love queen and have been listening to their discography over the last two weeks. but I just d/led Bad Religion's this morning so...

 

Well the bass will vibrate the entire car. With some of the crappier sensors from the 80's and 90's and current sound system technology, I'm sure you could put enough vibration through a car to trip one of the bumper sensors.

This is of course just for argument's sake, what kind of security camera even has a mic.

The deployment to me doesn't look violent enough either. Like someone put a compressed air purge into it.
