1. Sorry to hear about the trans Nick. Damn.
2. I love the beginning of your video, with the google earth and nice shots of your car. Nice touch.
3. You're making a lot more than 250rwhp.
4. Why does your car sound like it has a supercharger? I hear a lot of drivetrain whine. I dunno if that could be part of it?
5. I also really really need to track my car but I'm too much of a weenee. That looks like sooo much fun.

I once blew a 5spd....and my 2nd gear sounded just like that...and when you'd hear those loud "clanks" while rolling in neutral, it would actually hang up and briefly lock the rear tires momentarily. It sucked.
The whine sounds like my car..and I have full interior....but I have the Beatrush rear PPF brace....the sound is awesome.
Unfortunately, I have the same problem with inside wheel spin doing autoX...though the lower speeds might not be as hard on the driveline as doing it in 4th gear. Never had that problem on the track though.

Pretty interesting thing to say, seeing as how there's not even close to enough data to say exactly how much a 6-speed will reliably hold before blowing up. TSB popped his, but I've been ragging on mine HARD for at least 2 years and it is still flawless inside.

Transmission soup anyone? I dread to hear that in my 5spd soon. SO, are the Quaife internals that FM sells seriously worth it on a 5spd, or just keep dropping in a 5 or 6spd? I mean, that's some freakin serious cash for the Q, but has it been proven for reliability, other than the name alone? Sucks you have to get your hands dirty again, but that's part of the fun right?
