I remember drooling over this car when you posted pics in your intro

Nice pass, man. Seriously, 13's on your first pass ever is great.

Totally awesome. I bet the guy in the camaro was like "look at this loser mobile" until he went to pick up his time slip and said, "what the hell just happened?"

Work on your 60' times, and you will be in the 12's.

i think 12 sec is next to impossible with a vj20,unless you have some sickass lsd/slicks. i tried it for years with my bpt mx-3

clean built and awesome car, i miss my proteges and mx-3

NP.
Yes it holds 15psi to redline. The wastegate wasnt ported a whole lot, just enough to still seal under the stock flapper. Its a vj20/tbird hybrid, tbird compressor and chra mated to a vj20 turbine housing.

never tried those.
i got tired of exploding transmition on my fwd bpt mx-3, since g-type is super-rare here in quebec, i switched to type F later on, WAY better ratio, but the diff is even gayer

i miss it sooo bad, glad to see some mid-13 out of such a small turbo:P
keep on the good work

lol I hear that on the f trans diff. When I swaped the DOHC in I was still on the f trans. This car used to be a SOHC car. Blew the diff in 3 weeks with the stock BP. Im upgrading to a Mfactory LSD very soon for the g trans Im running now. I also have 2 spare g trans.

Thanks to you and every one who commented. I love the sleeper aspect very much.

MFactory is awesome, sone ppl use them in their mx-3 on our forum, and it kicks ***(be prepared to swap axels/halfshafts) hook like a ************,and is really afordable:P

f-type tranny are the best for the ratio. damn, hitting 130mph in 4th is awesome.when i dropped the bigturbo/builded engine i made 273KPH@7300rpm.
i'm SURE there is a way to hit 300 with a early gen 323 transmition.

the diff is the problem in every type. don't use flatshift for third gear too, i shreaded countless third gear on G-types

Im definitely looking forward to the LSD

The FWD transmissions are made of glass, yes. They are throw aways lol. Gotta have spares, or go toyota E153 trans swap.

going e-type cost a leg and an arm,but it's defenetly worth it.

g-type with a better gear ratio(pick a v6 626 ring gear) and then throw in a mfactory and call it a day
