Hey fellaaaaas. Name's Luke. I dont currently own a Miata....I know, "Why the ---- did you join a forum AND post about wanting to do a stupid engine swap that only one other guy we know has done!?" Good question. I don't currently own a Miata because I'm transitioning from overseas back to THE US of A. I had a Miata in Japan, a 99. I'm not really new to the whole car world. I've owned several, several cars. Soooo....I'll see everybody around?

The only enjoyment I got from your post was because I read it in my head with a lisp.

Good job referring to an engine swap that you give no information about, including the engine. I'm guessing Toyota something judging by your other posts.

You did make an intro thread, and haven't crapped on anything yet... so welcome aboard!

What year miata do you plan to get?
Plans? A bit more specific than "engine swap".

Roger, I definitely posted in the 2jz swap thread by Sean, and I was *thinking* about a 1jz single turbo swap....but that's a lot of work and if I continue to work on the flightline, I won't ever have the time. I think I worked a minimum of 14 hours a day? Something like that. and I would definitely only get another NB. You read my post in your head with a lisp?

Welcome to MT! 1jz's are killer engines, would be nice to see some more unusual swaps in NB's since most are done in NA's.
