Default belated hello

hey, i'm ger from wicklow in ireland.

I'm in the middle of a turbo build, so far i've taken a stock 90 1.6 miata or MX5 as they are called here and changed a few bits.

Firstly, the roads here are quite different for the ones i've driven on in the states, this is my route to the nearest town. The camera work is a bit shaky but you get the idea.

Most of my driving is on roads like this so i'm not that concerned with big power of massive straight line speed. More with good balance, no lag and good driving style.

My set up is, 1.6 with greddy, 265cc injectors, bipes, o2 clamp, DIY FMIC, 2.5" D-cat, 2.5" cat back stainless, Harddog deuce, KYB 8 way shocks, racing beat springs, toyo t1rs 195/55/14 on factory bbs's, grooved and drilled discs, EBC fast road pads.

Dumped the AC and de powering the PS FM style right now, no spare or jack (using a new tyre sealant fluid thats put in the tires when new)

Making 170hp and 150 lbs tourque at 7 psi.

Next up, MSPNP, light weight flywheel and artech 2.5" downpipe.

My goal is 200 hp from as low a boost as possible, no point making 15psi on these roads only to dump it at the next corner.

So hello all.

ger

thanks WonTon.

I'm gauging the 2.5" complete d'cat system, MSPNP and 305cc + injectors at 9psi should see me near enough to 200hp with fast spool up, and a light flywheel should make for good acceleration between the corners.

Is there a noticeable difference between the 3" and 2.5" DP, given the rest of my system is 2.5".
