Dutch NB trying to be a racecar
Hi all,
My name is Mark; I'm from Holland and I drive an NB MX5 (1.6L).
The car is pretty old, has 150k miles on it and some weight saving rust in some places. As I've been into simracing for a long time, I want to bring my MX5 to the track.
(Before doing so, I'm probably going to replace the cam seals and head gasket as seems to leak a bit.)
I've managed to find a good deal on a wideband + MS3X along with a working basemap. Obviously I have also deleted the stock airducting and replaced it with a short ram intake (Hurray, MAF delete!)
After a few long days of tuning it, it's running quite well and is much smoother than stock.
I've been reading these forums for a couple of months now, but I know there is so much more to learn. You're all very cool dudes, so I finally decided to create an account to join the party.
Hopefully I'm able to get my car track-ready somewhere in the summer while not blowing it up in the meantime
