So yeah will cover basically the bottom half of the country for delivery! It was on a STI and then it got removed then got the screw holes rippped out. it was then epoxied back in. has been running fine and I have gotten a little over 100 with the wing so im pretty sure it can take the beating.

I never understood why people tint the windows in a convertible.

But then again, I don't understand why people like automatic transmissions too.

 

Furthermore, I don't like people who keep windows rolled up with the top down.

 

I live in Ca and tinting your windows do 2 things...

Keeps the car cooler when parked
Lowers the chances someone wants to slide your top or break a window to get something.

 

I'm glad you decided to loose the wing. With your "chickfile" pay,then it is even more important for you to stop spending money on the car. Read as much as you can on this forum. Get a game plan together, prioritize your mods, and quit trying to do funky stuff to "make it yours".

Reading the forum will give you a great perspective on the price of upgrade parts. Stick to your plan, and watch the for sale section like a hawk. Great deals can be found there.

I'd probably start with a 4 point roll bar, then a set of frame rails (amazing results. A complete set of poly bushings make a big difference (but the amount of work involved is not for the faint of heart.) I posted a writeup about a cheap harbor freight torch. Burning them out is probably the most painless approach.

Alternately, don't do a lot to this car, save soem money, pick up a prebuilt turbo car after you know what you want. There have been some pretty good deals lately.

While I am not a fan of brown, I have seen a few mocha colored NA's with Bronze wheels that are not to shabby...

yellow on a miata to me just doesnt look right. I would keep it brown and gold sounds nice. pics of your dads sti?

 

helps alot if you smoke. keeps the smoke and ashes out of your eyes better, as well as making lighting a cig much easier. lol

 

I'm down with the brown. Running Sears Roadhandlers on 185/65/14 flavor and an APR 200 does not compute.
