FNG checking in!
Hi all! My names Matt, I currently reside in Marietta, Ohio, and I love Mazdas! My project car is a 1994 Ford Aspire, I plan on rebuilding a 1.8 BP from a 93 Mazda Protege, putting a turbo on it, then matching it up with a 5 speed from a 2002 KIA Rio. There's so much wrong with that last sentence I can only imagine what your thinking....but give it a chance!
This is my Aspire as it was, my current daily driver, a Mazda 626, is in the background. As you can see, the Aspire definately leaves a little something to be desired.
I'm not familiar with img size rules yet so I'll just post a link..
As it stands, I have the motor and transmission, and the car is tore down to the shell waiting a transplant and paint. I hope to have the drivetrain ready before the temp warms up so I can paint and start driving this car again.
I'm on a couple different forums, but the time is comming when I will need to choose a turbo and injectors and various other parts to get my car running again, and what better place to help me with that than a site dedicated to turbo'ing the same motor I'm building!
I haven't had a chance to look over the forum yet, but I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions now and then, who knows maybe I could answer one of yours one day.
Here's a link to my Photobucket account, feel free to browse the albums, IMO, this head cleaned up nicely..

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I've been looking around a bit, barely scratched the surface and I'm already seeing some really nice cars. I have a feeling I'm going to be lost in this forums database for teh next week straight. What else is there to do at work anyway lol..
