Greetings from Tucson
I just wanted to take a moment to say hello. I've been lurking for a few days, the "cooling thread" in race prep drew me in like a moth to a flame. I live in Tucson, and we do get a little warm here from time to time.
My car... it was supposed to be a project for my daughter, but she decided it wasn't "practical". I really need to get that child away from her mother more often
Rather than sell it off I've decided to play with it, so far it is still N/A but I am getting more and more interested in throwing a hair dryer under the hood. I wouldn't want anything too radical, just a little more... well more.
To this point I've mostly made suspension mods (frame rail bracing , new coil overs...). I did however upgrade to a COP system, and am swapping in a 2001+ header this weekend.
I am thrilled to see such an apparently well versed group that doesn't think your the anti-christ if you modify your car.
Oh, and if anyone knows what the status of the "Davies Craig" water pump experiment at FM is I would love more information.
I'll keep this brief, then there will be less for the grammar ***** to pick on
Thanks for the good info,
G
