Default Hello from Connecticut

Good morning everyone! Ive had my 92 suburst now for nearly 6 years and I am hoping to pull the trigger on some boost this year. Back and forth between a FM DIY kit, or piecing it together completely. The car has been great fun as is but my wife now has a v6 rav4 and that thing is just too much fun to drive quick so now I want some fun of my own in terms of power. Currently its up on jackstands in the garage getting new timing belt, water pump, seals, FM level 1 clutch, and some other maintenance bits.

yes sadly I do have a cat still. When I last did emissions back in 2015 the guy said "great you passed, and now you can go full racecar". CT has emissions exempt after 25 years, but I moved away for a few years and left the car behind. Now I can finally get back to modding it.

That first pic was taken at Lime rock autox in 2014. I used to do autox with the FCSCC down in Stratford but did it less and less since I didnt want to "waste" my entire beautiful sunday standing in a parking lot only to drive for a few minutes. Id rather go cruising on the roads in the northwest part of the state. Im in Wallingford.

Well its still 1. Almost.... Rescuing a cat from a shelter is surprisingly way more work than it should be. I give you the money, you give me the kat, end of transaction.

Had the same issues rescuing a dog. They wanted the deed for my house to make sure I wasn't renting.

yeah no kidding, its mad. Some cats I like require home visit, so many references, vet contact, etc. I don't have a cat so there is no vet picked out yet!!

Any who, Im excited to read a lot on these forums to see what Ill do about boost. Once spring comes I wont want to have the car down long, if at all, so boost will need to be the kind of thing where I have everything on order at once to do one big install. Aside from maybe getting the megasquirt sooner and installing that piece up and running the car for a bit on that. Unlike most, I dont get a tax refund this year so I gotta give the govt money back, then I can put things into the car.

Well, that's what happens when you elect Democrats. They take away your freedoms and over regulate everything.

In freedomland, I walk into county animal control building and say, "Me want cat."
They say "How many?"
I says, "Just one. "
They says, "You sure? We got plenty cat here."
Me, "One enough for today."
Thems, "Five dollar. "

Poof. Got cat.

Me happy.
Cat, "Meh..."
