Default Hey New to miatas plan on turboing soon West Michigan

Hey just introducing myself. I just picked up a med-high mileage 96 M ed about 3.5 weeks ago. Blew the coolant hose within about 4 days of driving it. I'm fixing/getting it fixed up cosmetically right now then its on to turboing later this summer hopefully. I've already got a t25 (I think) from a DSM and a V2 (I think) Megasquirt module.

On another note does anybody know whether or not a snugtop will fit a stock mazda rear window? My miatacame with a painted snugtop but it has a broken rear window. I E-mailed snug top but I got some guy that avoided my question and then got really angry when I tried to press the point.

Anyways, I'm Frank and hopefully I'll be a proper turboed member in a couple months

Welcome to the forum Frank. How many miles on that 96? If over 60,000 start thinking about changing the timing belt and water pump.

I realize you mentioned you're in West Michigan but, could you please put that info below your Avatar? It'll make it easier for people in your area to assist you.

BTW, I also have a 96. Now, pics or ban!
