Default Newbie entering the miata realm

Hello everyone my name is Nate and of course I am a newbie to the forum. I am currently in the market to buy a miata for auto x mainly but also track days in the future (no real tracks where I live). I have been on many different sides of the car scene since I was 15 but have been pretty docile the last few years and dont drive anything too exciting anymore. I have always loved working on vehicles and have had the opportunity to own some great vehicles and drive most the US. I wont be posting any "zomg I needz a turbo for huge powerz" threads as I am looking mainly to maximize my miata's feel on the track and not really build it power wise. So any input on suspension components or basic improvements such as radiators ect for running it hard would be the best help. Looking forward to learning more about this vehicle and seeing what everyone else has built

Don't worry, that wears off. You'll be lusting for 250HP soon enough.

Well ive been searching for quite a while but finally purchased my new track toy. Its a 1993 1.6l base model that was an insurance sale due to theft. Paid 925$ for it and am picking it up tomorrow. Very excited and am already trying to get some more parts to pile up so I can work on it this summer. I look through the threads every day on here and have learned a lot already about this car so will be interesting to see how im able to control it on the course during one of my local auto x events. Will start a build thread soon as well as picks after I pick it up
