why a built engine for 200-250? With a good tune it will be safe. I mean if you just want a built engine to have one that's cool.

Because I want my car faster and I want to be able to blow alot of cars away at the track I cant stand being in a slow car

He's just mad that you've come to your senses regarding power levels and we can't pick on you anymore.

For reals though. 200-250 rwhp is easily attained on a stock longblock. No need to build for that power level.

You want your car faster.... So you want MORE than 200-250 then??? if you plan to stay below 250, stock is good to go with proper management and tune. If you want more than that, the build would then be money well spent.

But then at that point(250-300hp+) you have to look at a bunch more supporting mods: transmission options, rear end options, brake upgrades, cooling upgrades(oil and coolant), bigger exhaust, bigger clutch, more expensive turbo with externally gated manifold, ect., bigger and more expensive tire to hold the power.

The list goes on.

I have got a 1.8 out of a 99-00 and a torsen rear end other than that it is being broke down and taken to the machine shop and then it will be getting forged rods and pistons new head gasket main and head studs new bearings the head will be stock and be running a 48mm turbo new 550cc injectors new walboro 255 fuel pump and a megasquirt ecu and he said i can make anywhere from 250-300 with ease and still be in the safe limits of the motor
