Default Hi. My name is Patrick.

Hi everyone. I'm 19 and am from Los Angeles. I wanted a miata ever since my friend let me drive his 1995 M Edition miata at Adams Motorsports Park in the Summer of 2014.

I eventually bought a 1994 M Edition miata in February of 2015.
I drove it around for a while as it was because it was my DD, and I was attending college. I just did maintenance and replaced things that were not doing too well such as the slave cylinder, brakes and wires.

Over the summer I installed a Blackbird Fabworx rollbar because safety is #1.

At the end of the summer, I installed a F1 racing 10 lbs flywheel with a 1.6 exedy clutch. I installed a m-tuned coolant reroute while the transmission was out. I also installed some Tein basics that my friend gave me, but they might need to go because they are too low.
Now that I am away at a different college and don't have my car, I have too read about turbo builds too get my miata fix. Especially when my dad calls me every week and tells me that the miata is driving good and sends me pictures like this.

What's the tie-down hook poking through your front plate for?

No. They are 14in bbs rims from either a 1992 or 1993 miata.

I'm not sure. It was on the car when I bought it. I think its funny that whoever installed it cut a hole in the license plate.

Welcome to the forums. You better post some cats or prepare to be flamed by members here. Cats are the token to pass.

Ok. Thanks for the advice. Here's a picture of my cat Shailo.

This story is so similar to mine it is scary! (in a good way) My name is also Patrick, bought a Miata when I was 19 and was inspired to when I got to ride in a spec Miata at the VIR. I'm just on the east coast. best of luck to you Miyamoto and all of your future projects!

A ride is a Spec miata sounds so fun. I can defiantly see how it would make you want a miata.

It was amazing and terrifying at the same time. Since then I have met many miata drivers and all of them have been really cool people from all walks of life.
