He always brought home milk on Friday.

After a long hard week full of days he would burst through the door, his fatigue hidden behind a smile. There was an icy jug of Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz in his right hand. With his left hand he would grip my waist - I was always cooking dinner - and press the cold frostiness of the jug against my arm as he kissed my cheek. I would jump, mostly to gratify him after a time, and smile lovingly at him. He was a good man, a wonderful husband who always brought the milk on Friday, Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz.

Then there was that Friday, the terrible Friday that would ruin every Friday for the rest of my life. The door opened, but there was no bouyant greeting - no cold jug against the back of my arm. There was no Tuscan Whole Milk in his right hand, nor his left. There came no kiss. I watched as he sat down in a kitchen chair to remove his shoes. He wore no fatigue, but also no smile. I didn't speak, but turned back to the beans I had been stirring. I stirred until most of their little shrivelled skins floated to the surface of the cloudy water. Something was wrong, but it was vague wrongness that no amount of hard thought could give shape to.

Over dinner that night I casually inserted,"What happened to the milk?"

"Oh,"he smiled sheepishly, glancing aside,"I guess I forgot today."

That was when I knew. He was tired of this life with me, tired of bringing home the Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz. He was probably shoveling funds into a secret bank account, looking at apartments in town, casting furtive glances at cashiers and secretaries and waitresses. That's when I knew it was over. Some time later he moved in with a cashier from the Food Mart down the street. And me? Well, I've gone soy.

Dude, you're never gonna learn are you?

No one cares. Like, at all. You're gonna have to drop this really silly attitude if you want anyone to buy anything from you ever. We have a ton of really awesome vendors, who are nice and knowledgeable, and most importantly make us AWESOME parts for great prices. We don't need you. You're not doing anyone any favors. You'll have to EARN our interest. So 1) pay a vendor fee and become one 2) start interest in whatever product you want to bring to market.

Those are the bare minimum you'll have to do. Otherwise, enjoy the little time you have on here until you get into another stupid argument and banned based on your giant lack of knowledge about the miata platform and BP engine, and mind blowingly pathetic attitude/people skills.

/serious post

I am not interested in designing a coolant re-route for the miata community, for that you have the M-Tuned re-route which is perfect with any of the existing cross flow radiators.

What about downflow radiators? Like the stock style or Koyo with the tanks at the top and bottom of the core?

Hater!

I want to know what he is offering that I might be missing out on. Just because 18psi isn't open to any new ideas doesn't mean the rest of us don't deserve a chance.

Vlad thinks everything useful has already been invented.

concealer404 09-25-2014 08:19 AM

I have an idea.

18psi 09-25-2014 09:03 AM

we have the hyper re-route

we need nothing

Coolant reroutes are so played out and really don't solve any of our issues.

What I've invented completely revolutionizes the performance of your miata. Preliminary reports show significant gains in both power and efficiency. I am proud to announce the release of the Hyper oil reroute. This improves oil flow, cooling, reduces unnessary restrictions and pressures in existing oil passages.

Now that you know the benefits to our innovative new product, we assure our customers that through hours of research and development, and extensive engineering we have been able to design a kit that makes this reroute a simple modification that can be completed by the novice mechanic with basic tools.

We have sourced oil flow from the oil priming port on the oil pump. From there you will replace the plug with the oil line supplied in our kit. This oil line is then routed up to the oil fill cap on the valve cover. The only fabrication required with our simple kit is that a hole then be tapped in the fill cap. At this point you can insert the oil line through the fill cap hole, which is then permanently secured with industrial strength duct tape.

The new oil flow passage results in substantially reduced oil temperatures, vastly reduced oil backpressure which reduces valvetrain losses and premature oil pump wear, as well as increased cam lubrication. As mentioned above the power gains are substantial. We expect to start shipping kits early next month.

Prices start at $499, but we expect those to increase as we try to keep up with demand.

You know when Ed quotes Galaxy Quest, shit just got real.

I say we get a kick starter going and dump all our money, which was to go towards pointless and shitty forum vendor "upgrades", and crowd source this bitch.

I'll even do a DIY install guide on my thread!
