Default I'm new, and mentally unstable!

HI EVERYBODY, I guess I'm the new guy!! I am Ethan, a photographer and car enthusiast. After 24 years of being an innocent little fairy boy, I'm about to plunge myself into the deep moist velvety depths of FORCED INDUCTION...which is why I'm here! I drive a Miata, 350Z, and GSXR at the moment but despite my Japanese vehicle fetish, I know more about Ford GTs than any other car. Currently a full time un-certified supercar mechanic, and part time retard. I'm biding my time as I wait for summer to get here, and with it...a Flyin Miata turbo kit! Which reminds me, if any of you have a FM 1.6 turbo kit for sale I'm all ears Thanks for reading guys, I love you. ALL OF YOU!!!

Here's some super over sized photos of my stuff n things.

Oh hai!

Don't bother building the 1.6. At the end of the day you have .... a built 1.6. 1.8 is much better, 1.8 VVT motor is muchmuch better.

Plus many more 1.8/1.8vvt motors were produced.

Edit: and how does one become an uncertified supercar mechanic?

While I do not condone keeping a 1.6 there is an FM2 2560 kit for sale on my local forum. No affiliation with the seller.

You become an un-certified supercar mechanic by having the very best friends! It's a stressful job though, you wouldn't want it haha!

I live on the moon!!!

I have on live cat.

I know the 1.6 isn't the best platform....but I have two 1.6 motors...so I'll just boost them until they die, and then get a new manifold and a few other misc parts and do the 1.8 swap

Thanks Ryan_G, I'll log in and check it out!

I just realized that there is a post count for the classifieds. If you want, I can reach out to the seller myself and let him know you might be interested.

I am going to reach out to him for you. What would be the best way to contact you since you cannot pm on either forum? You would need to paypal him directly and I can pick it up and ship it for you.

Where are you located? Can I give him your email directly as well so you two can work out the details and I can just step in for the pick up?

Southern Minnesota unfortunately lol. Yes that will work! As I'm new to this whole turbo thing, are there specifics other than shaft play that I should ask about?

I relayed your info to him so hopefully he will be reaching out to you directly. If he goes back through me I will let you know. Ask about the mileage and if there are any known problems. I can give it all a look when I pick it up in person to verify that it is in good condition.

Thanks for the connection Ryan!!! Talked to him, and bought it....and even convinced him to ship it to me so you don't have to do anything! Thank you soooo much for that, I owe you! Not how I expected my first post to end up hahah.

Braineack, I will be contacting you soon enough to order Megasquirt
